Market hours and spread

Forex and gold open around Sunday night to Friday night (Dubai time roughly Monday early hours to Saturday early hours) and close at the weekend. Crypto is open 24/7.

• The London session starts around 11:00 or 12:00 Dubai time.
• The New York session starts around 4 or 5 pm Dubai time, and US stocks open at 5:30 or 6:30 pm.
• The London–New York overlap usually has the strongest moves and best liquidity for gold and EUR.

The spread is the difference between the buy and sell price, a cost you pay on every trade. It widens during big news, at the market open and late at night.
